Iraq Grain board is one of ministry of trade institutions that importing wheat and rice for ration card purpose and the structure of the company divided in to the following department:

Administrative department: its responsible of administrative procedures concerning company employees and fallow up the need and redundant of workers.

Importing department: its responsible of importing grain and spare parts for silos and grinders
|
| |
Marketing department: its responsible of balancing distribution of grain to governorates and silos according to their need and available storage also buying local production from farmers .

Legal department :fallow up contracts.agnencies and legal procedures of company works
|
| |
Financial department: its concerning of accounts procedures of company works and expenditure deserved accounts, also fallow up all Financial cases of company

Editing department: follow up editing all procedures and works of the company according to specific instructions and standards.

Computer department: making all programs concerning company's work and execution them ,gathering in formations and maintain all equipments of the company

planning department: its responsible of making statistics concerning available Storages and balances IN SILOS AND BRUNCHES of the company
|

Quality control department: manages all labs in Baghdad and brunches of the company in order to examine the incoming grain to the locations and definition if their accordant for human consumption.

Engineering department: making all designs concerning trades reality also fallow up all maintains works.

Transport & Workshop department: is considered one of the pioneer departments since the foundation of the company in 1939 and its tasks have been developed and expanded in 1973
One of its important tasks is transporting grain by a huge fleet of productive trucks owned by GBI as well as transporting food stuff included in the rationing card items from the far north of Iraq to its far south

Media branch : fallow up the activities of the company and make press reportages and interviews with managers inside and outside of the company, also editing news concerning theses activities and circulation them to all mass media throw information bureau ,beside to all this follow up daily news to terminate any negative case concerning company works.
